We are looking for a Tech Deployment Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and scaling of technology solutions across Amazon's operational network. This role drives cross-functional alignment, manages complex implementation roadmaps, and ensures successful rollout of technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Key job responsibilities
Program & Project Management
- Own the deployment lifecycle of technical solutions from pilot through to scaled implementation across multiple sites or regions.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines; track progress and report on risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Maintain clear documentation and playbooks for repeatable deployment execution.
Technical Coordination
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, IT, and external vendors to ensure technical readiness and successful implementation.
- Validate technical requirements and solution integration with existing infrastructure and systems.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and transition to operations.
Cross-functional Alignment
- Facilitate coordination among key stakeholders including product teams, finance, legal, compliance, and field operations.
- Align deployment goals with business priorities and ensure stakeholder expectations are clearly managed.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze post-deployment performance metrics to validate impact and identify areas for optimization.
- Lead lessons learned reviews and incorporate feedback into future deployments.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of deployment processes.

About the team
The Building Energy Tech team is responsible for the deployment of technology solutions that enable automation, energy efficiency, monitoring, and optimization across our building portfolio. - 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of team management experience
- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelor's degree- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience with technology rollouts in facilities environments
- Familiarity with IoT, automation systems, IT/OT integration, or smart infrastructure
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
- PMP, Six Sigma, or similar certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
