Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to sell/propose creative technologies across a landscape of various decision makers.
  • Ability to collaborate in ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
  • Excellent tactical thinking skills, systems thinking with the ability to align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.

As a part of the Head of Retail Media Specialism team, you will create strategy for business growth through Retail Media networks, manage team progress against goals, develop executive-level relationships by partnering with Pod on leveraging retail media as profit drivers for retailers, all while driving incremental investment in Google via retail media networks and enabling sales through industry and cross-product expertise that unlocks full-funnel Google media, SKU-level measurement, and true incrementality insights across the Google product suite.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously focus on how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We help these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  • Drive growth through ownership of Google Retail Media sales strategy and operational plan to keep sales team accountable to hitting quarterly business and product/platform adoption goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM, GPS, GMP, BD, etc to co-ordinate a One Google Commerce media approach.
  • Oversee feedback cycle between Client/Pod and Go- to-Market, Product teams to influence CMN product roadmap.
  • Serve as external spokesperson at industry events, presenting Google Commerce Media narrative to the global market.
  • Drive creation of scalable operations, best practices, and business tracking to streamline client and pipeline management.
