Carvana is seeking an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician to prep vehicles for paint. You'll perform tasks such as sanding, masking, and buffing. This role requires a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
You have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to learn and grow in the auto body repair field. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle you prep is ready for paint to meet high-quality standards. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of a fast-paced environment. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair will be considered a plus. You are open to receiving training and are enthusiastic about developing your skills further as you progress in your career at Carvana.
As an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that each vehicle meets the company's quality standards before it is painted. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that the workflow is efficient and that vehicles are delivered on time. You will also participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in auto body repair, allowing you to progress in your role and potentially take on more responsibilities in the future.
