Your strong backend and system design skills focus on correctness and maintainability, ensuring that the systems you build are robust and scalable.

You are comfortable designing and evolving APIs and data models used by other teams or customers — your experience allows you to create interfaces that are not only functional but also intuitive for users. You have a product mindset with empathy for content practitioners, marketers, and developers, which helps you align technical solutions with user needs.

Familiarity with observability tools and debugging practices will help you own the system in production, ensuring operational reliability and performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and build core backend systems for dynamic content resolution and delivery — your work will underpin the future of personalized content experiences. You will implement deterministic, cache-aware execution pipelines with strong performance guarantees, ensuring that content is delivered efficiently across channels.

You will define and evolve APIs, schemas, and versioning strategies with long-term stability in mind — your expertise will guide the architecture of systems that are both flexible and maintainable. Building tooling and simple UIs to manage, preview, debug, and explain system behavior will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to create a seamless experience for users.

Creating demo experiences and reference implementations to dogfood the platform end-to-end will be essential — you will showcase the capabilities of the systems you build and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with product and other engineering teams on integration and UX will ensure that your solutions meet user needs and enhance overall product quality.

You will own the system in production, including observability, debugging, and operational reliability — your proactive approach will help identify and resolve issues before they impact users. Your contributions will directly influence how content is selected, combined, and shaped for delivery, making a significant impact on the company's offerings.
