Who you are

You have 4 to 8 years of experience in financial accounting, demonstrating a strong understanding of both US GAAP and K-IFRS standards. Your proficiency in MS Excel allows you to analyze data effectively and create detailed reports. You possess excellent communication skills in both English and Korean, enabling you to articulate complex financial concepts clearly to various stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to your work, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. Your experience includes responding to accounting and auditing issues, showcasing your ability to navigate complex financial environments. Additionally, you have experience in preparing consolidated financial statements, which is crucial for this role.

Desirable

Experience with SAP FI/BPC is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to manage financial data efficiently. Holding a Korean CPA or US CPA qualification will further strengthen your candidacy, demonstrating your commitment to the accounting profession. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements that include cash flow statements in compliance with US GAAP and K-IFRS. You will collaborate with various departments, including legal, FP&A, and HR, to address accounting and auditing issues effectively. Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timely reporting, which is essential for the company's financial health. You will also participate in the preparation of annual audit reports, contributing to the transparency and reliability of Coupang's financial disclosures. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal teams will be vital in supporting the Global Accounting team and other organizational needs. You will be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting activities.
