The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19+ overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally. And the Global Selling Central BI team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive seller success and operational excellence, while leveraging latest AI, LLM, and automation technologies to drive innovation.
Key job responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence initiatives
• Partner with Product, Technical, Business, and Marketing teams to understand data requirements and design scalable and user-friendly BI solutions
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure efficient data processing
• Implement automated reporting and dashboard solutions to track KPIs and business metrics
• Design and implement AI/LLM-powered solutions to automate routine tasks and enhance decision-making processes
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Hands-on experience implementing LLM-based solutions
