Overview

SpaceX is seeking an Antenna Engineer for the Starlink project to design and implement advanced RF systems. You'll work with phased array and parabolic antennas to enhance global broadband connectivity. This role requires expertise in RF systems and antenna design.

You have a strong background in antenna engineering, particularly with phased array and RF systems — your experience includes designing and implementing antennas for consumer-facing hardware. You understand the complexities of Wi-Fi systems and have worked on advanced parabolic antennas for gateways and ground stations. Your technical expertise allows you to tackle challenges in deploying satellite communication systems effectively.

You are passionate about technology and its potential to connect people globally — your work has a direct impact on users in remote areas, from teachers in the Amazon to researchers in Antarctica. What you'll do

As an Antenna Engineer at SpaceX, you will take ownership of the design and implementation of phased array and RF systems for Starlink's customer-facing hardware. You will work closely with other engineers to develop solutions that provide fast and reliable internet access to users worldwide. Your responsibilities will include designing advanced parabolic antennas for our gateways and ground stations, ensuring they meet performance specifications and can be deployed regionally.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your designs into the overall Starlink system — this includes working with software engineers to ensure seamless connectivity and user experience. You will also be involved in testing and verifying the performance of the antennas, making adjustments as necessary to optimize functionality.
