You have extensive experience in federal affairs, ideally with a background in policy development and engagement with government officials. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders is crucial, as you will be working closely with federal policymakers and regulatory agencies. You understand the legislative process and can track key issues that affect the financial systems and economic empowerment initiatives. You are a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively across various teams, including Government Affairs and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure that Block's vision is well represented.

You are passionate about economic empowerment and have a strong commitment to ensuring access to financial systems for all. Your experience in navigating complex political landscapes allows you to advocate effectively for Block's interests. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on long-term goals. You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working with diverse teams to achieve common objectives.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology sector or with organizations focused on economic empowerment would be a plus. Familiarity with legislative processes and regulatory frameworks related to financial services is highly desirable. What you'll do

In your role as Director of Federal Affairs, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to engage with federal policymakers.
