What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of revenue recognition policies at Twilio. You will serve as the primary point of contact for revenue recognition matters, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include assessing and documenting revenue recognition conclusions for complex and non-standard contracts with customers. You will author technical memos and provide guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between accounting practices and business strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining operational scalability and audit readiness, working closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
