Mem0 is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical owner of customer integrations. You'll work closely with clients to design and build integrations using Python and JavaScript, ensuring successful deployments and ongoing support.
You have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer in customer-facing integration roles, demonstrating a strong ability to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your background includes hands-on experience with integration architectures and a knack for troubleshooting issues in real-world environments. You thrive in customer-facing situations, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and data-driven, ensuring that your solutions meet both technical and business requirements. You are comfortable working with SDKs and APIs, particularly in Python and JavaScript, and have a solid understanding of data models and privacy constraints. You are proactive in capturing feedback and influencing product roadmaps based on customer interactions.
In this role, you will own the onboarding and integration process for Mem0's customers, planning and delivering deployments while setting up environments and guiding clients through the use of Mem0 SDKs. You will run technical discovery sessions to define data models and design integration architectures that align with customer applications. Your responsibilities will include building reference implementations and prototypes, followed by productionizing these solutions with robust testing and observability. You will troubleshoot issues in the field, optimizing performance and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, you will set service level indicators and objectives, create dashboards and alerts, and write runbooks to facilitate incident management. You will also play a key role in bridging the gap between customers and the product and engineering teams, capturing structured feedback and influencing the product roadmap. You will enable and educate customers by creating documentation, sample code, and running workshops to empower their teams.
