Nebius AI is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its expanding operations across Europe. You'll work closely with procurement, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure compliance and negotiate contracts. This role requires expertise in legal matters related to procurement and commercial agreements.
You are a qualified legal professional with experience in advising on procurement contracts and commercial agreements. You have a strong understanding of compliance requirements and are skilled in negotiating terms that align with business objectives. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives. You are proactive in monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring that the organization adheres to applicable laws. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to coordinate effectively with external counsel and internal stakeholders. You are passionate about the intersection of law and technology, particularly in the context of AI and cloud computing.
In this role, you will advise on and negotiate procurement contracts, including data center acquisition or development, co-location and lease agreements, and related services. You will support the acquisition of permits and licenses required for infrastructure projects, ensuring that all legal aspects are covered. You will draft, review, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements globally, playing a key role in the company's operations. You will coordinate and manage external counsel to ensure cost-effective, high-quality legal support, and monitor regulatory developments that may impact the business. Your work will directly contribute to the strategic sourcing initiatives of Nebius, enabling the company to expand its footprint in the AI cloud infrastructure market. You will collaborate with various teams, including procurement, infrastructure, and product, to align legal strategies with business goals.
