You have a mechanical aptitude and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of following written and verbal job descriptions and can maintain accurate records. Your ability to multitask is essential as you balance various responsibilities throughout the shift. You are proactive in training new hires and stepping in when team members are absent, ensuring that production goals are met consistently.

Desirable

Experience in a pellet manufacturing environment is preferred, as it will help you understand the specific challenges and processes involved in this role. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will set you apart from other candidates.

What you'll do

As a Mobile Equipment Operator at Enviva, you will work closely with your team to ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You will back up the team leader in all aspects of Pellet Mill and Hammermill operations, ensuring that production goals are met. Your responsibilities will include following up on daily shift testing to ensure compliance with specifications and communicating any issues to the team leader promptly. You will also take ownership of the 5S procedure, maintaining cleanliness and organization in your work area.

In addition to your operational duties, you will coordinate housekeeping efforts during shift swaps to maintain required standards. You will walk with the Safety Manager during monthly housekeeping audits, ensuring that safety protocols are followed. Your ability to escalate issues for proper resolution will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
