What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Samsara, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. You will design, develop, and implement software solutions that leverage Salesforce to improve operational efficiency for our clients. Your work will directly impact industries that represent over 40% of global GDP, helping them harness IoT data for actionable insights.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and deliver innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the performance and reliability of our systems.

You will also participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Your expertise will guide the team in adopting best practices for software development, including testing, documentation, and version control.
