SpaceX is hiring an Integration Technician for Falcon Operations to assist with launch site assembly and testing of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. This role requires mechanical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
You are a motivated and energetic mechanical technician with a strong desire to contribute to the exciting mission of SpaceX. You thrive in demanding technical situations and demonstrate exceptional personal initiative. You understand the importance of quality work and are conscientious about the tasks you perform. You are not afraid to use your technical ability to identify issues and propose solutions, driving process improvements that streamline work and save costs. You have a hands-on approach and are comfortable working with both large and small, fragile ESD-sensitive components. Your ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude in high-pressure environments sets you apart.
As an Integration Technician, you will stage, set up, assemble, and test flight hardware according to technical work instructions. You will ensure the highest level of quality to support the successful launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a tight-knit team to accomplish tasks that were previously thought improbable. You will be involved in hands-on operations, working with critical flight systems and ensuring that all assembly and testing processes meet stringent quality standards. You will also be expected to contribute to process improvements, identifying areas where efficiency can be enhanced and costs can be reduced. Your role will require you to be adaptable, as you may work multiple shifts to meet the demands of the launch schedule.
