Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Strategic Accounts to lead sales strategies and drive growth in Global 2000 accounts. This role requires a proven track record in exceeding sales quotas and effective pipeline management.
You have a strong background in sales, particularly in managing strategic accounts and driving significant revenue growth. With over 5 years of experience in a similar role, you have consistently exceeded sales quotas and demonstrated tenacity and accountability in your work. You are adept at forecasting and managing a diverse sales pipeline, ensuring that you meet and exceed performance metrics. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a collaborative approach to problem-solving, which helps you drive sales strategies effectively.
Experience in software and services sales, particularly within the technology sector, is highly desirable. In this role, you will play a leadership part in executing Smartsheet's Strategic Accounts sales strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to drive executive engagement and deliver substantial growth in software and services bookings. You will manage a defined set of Global 2000 accounts, focusing on both net new and expansion customers. Your ability to forecast accurately and manage a diverse pipeline will be crucial as you work to consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
You will provide leadership to the account and selling teams, driving sales strategy and developing accounts over a multi-year time horizon. This involves creating and maintaining actionable plans that align with customer objectives and Smartsheet's offerings. You will also be responsible for reporting to the Regional Director of Strategic Accounts, ensuring that your strategies align with broader company goals.
