Senior Fullstack Engineer, React and Ruby

Who you are

You have significant experience as a Fullstack Engineer, particularly with a focus on infrastructure automation. You are proficient in both React and Ruby, and you understand how to build scalable applications that enhance user experience. Your background includes working with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, and you are familiar with container orchestration using Kubernetes. You have a strong grasp of infrastructure as code principles, particularly with tools like Terraform, which you have used to automate deployments and manage infrastructure efficiently. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other developers to ensure the adoption and effective use of tools that improve developer experience. You are proactive in leading projects and are comfortable taking ownership of your work, ensuring that you deliver high-quality results.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing core features of the Algolia Dashboard, focusing on enhancing the user experience through agentic and AI-powered functionalities. You will work on building new services that power the infrastructure platform, enabling quick and autonomous deployment for all teams. Your work will involve collaborating with other developers to support the adoption and usage of the tools you create, ensuring that they meet the needs of the team and the business. You will lead projects with complete autonomy, making critical decisions that impact the direction of the Dashboard platform. You will also be involved in building tooling and guidelines that contribute to a great Developer Experience, ensuring that all developers at Algolia can ship features efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and scalability of the platform, as you work to empower over 17,000 businesses to deliver exceptional search experiences.
