EverQuote is seeking a Pre-Sales Representative to engage potential clients and qualify them for the quoting process. This remote role requires strong communication skills and a passion for connecting clients with agents.

Who you are

You possess top-notch communication skills and are viewed as friendly and helpful on the phone. You have strong people skills and a passion to connect others, demonstrating the ability to speak clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Your tenacity and willingness to persevere through calls set you apart, and you have the ability to learn relevant phone and computer platforms quickly. Prior experience with phone sales or call center work is a plus, but your enthusiasm and dedication to the role are what truly matter.

What you'll do

As a Pre-Sales Representative at EverQuote, you will engage potential clients in phone conversations on the front end of the sales process, qualifying them to continue the quoting process with an agent. You will answer inbound calls or make outbound calls, using your strong communication skills to build rapport with potential clients. Making quick decisions to qualify the potential client and transferring them to a live agent will be a key part of your role. You will take the lead in introducing the potential client to the appropriate agent, working diligently to reach weekly goals and quality transfer rates. Additionally, you will need to pivot quickly with script, consumer engagement, and process changes as needed.

Our vision is to be the leading growth partner for property and casualty, or P&C, insurance providers. We offer a compensation of $13.00/hr plus up to $200 weekly spiff, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact our success.
