Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Growth team to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. You'll leverage your sales expertise and familiarity with enterprise technology to build strong customer relationships in Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of field experience in a quota-carrying role, demonstrating a strong track record of overachievement in a competitive market. Your ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology sets you apart, and you thrive on building relationships that lead to growth opportunities. You are skilled in managing your time and resources effectively, with a sound approach to qualifying opportunities. Previous training in Sales Methodology, such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales, has equipped you with the tools to navigate complex sales processes successfully. Familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open-source technology is a plus, as it enhances your ability to connect with clients and understand their needs. Driven and competitive, you possess a strong desire to succeed and make an impact in your role.

Desirable

While not required, experience in enterprise technology sales and a proven ability to close business will be advantageous. Your passion for new business acquisition and your proactive approach to prospecting will help you excel in this position.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within your assigned territory, resulting in significant revenue growth and new customer acquisition. You will proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that you meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives. Building strong and effective relationships with clients will be key to your success, as you will work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Participation in our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and ongoing training programs will further enhance your skills and effectiveness in the role.
