Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience and are skilled in performing light to medium automotive repairs. You are familiar with general automotive repairs such as radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. Your expertise extends to completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as carrying out vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores. You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

You are a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative setting and are eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry. You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and technology to enhance your efficiency and effectiveness as a mechanic. You are committed to providing excellent service to customers and ensuring their vehicles are in optimal condition.

Desirable

Experience with advanced automotive diagnostic tools and techniques is a plus. Familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicle systems would be beneficial. You are open to participating in training programs to further develop your skills and advance your career at Carvana.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs on our vehicles. This includes diagnosing issues and executing repairs on essential systems such as brakes, engines, and transmissions. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies. Your role will involve using diagnostic equipment to identify problems and determine the best course of action for repairs. You will document all repairs and services performed, ensuring accurate records are kept for each vehicle.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians and share your knowledge and expertise with the team. You will participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, contributing to your professional growth and development.
