Job Summary
As an Atlassian Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of Jira and Confluence in a Data Center environment. You will handle day-to-day administration, support technical incidents, manage upgrades, and collaborate with functional teams to continuously improve the platform.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-demand, mission-critical environment within one of Europe’s leading space organizations.
You will report to the Delivery Manager France.
Home office can be partially implemented.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Operations
- Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of Jira and Confluence Data Center platforms.
- Execute day-to-day administration tasks (project creation, permission management, configuration).
- Apply security patches and manage minor upgrades and corrective maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and anticipate risks of saturation or degradation.
- Document actions performed and share best practices for future reference.
Support & Incident Management
- Handle technical tickets (incidents, requests, changes, evolutions).
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into configurations.
- Maintain full traceability of all actions in customer's tools (e.g., Jira, EasyVista).
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Manage access rights and permissions in line with customer's security rules.
- Participate in technical committees and provide input on platform improvements.
- Evaluate and integrate new plugins and extensions when relevant.
- Contribute to knowledge capitalization and internal documentation.
Availability & Reliability
- Ensure continuous platform availability through monitoring and proactive actions.
- Participate in on-call rotations (astreintes) to support 24/7 operations.
Do You Have What It Takes to be our future Atlassian Administrator ?
We’re looking for an experienced Atlassian Administrator with 3 years minimum of hands-on experience in Jira and Confluence, ideally in a Data Center environment.
You know your way around user management, permissions, workflows, schemes, and configurations, and are comfortable handling system monitoring, upgrades, and security patches.
Experience with ITSM tools (EasyVista, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) is a plus.
You’re proactive, reliable, and collaborative, with strong problem-solving skills that let you anticipate risks and keep platforms running smoothly.
You're comfortable to speak on face to face with customers if necessary.
Fluent in French, you can also speak/write in English (B2 level) ou’ll thrive in a hybrid working environment based in Toulouse.
