Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives (Fulfillment)

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in operations management, ideally within a logistics or fulfillment environment — you've successfully led strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation. You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy tackling complex, technical challenges that require creative solutions. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify gaps in processes and design effective workflows that enhance operational performance. You are comfortable working hands-on with data and technology, including building workflows in SQL and prototyping tools to support your initiatives. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You are passionate about shaping the future of global trade and are excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact at Flexport.

Desirable

Experience in supply chain management or fulfillment operations is a plus, as is familiarity with product development processes. A background in technology or software development can also be beneficial, as you will be working closely with product and engineering teams to implement solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the architect of Flexport's Fulfillment network, responsible for designing and implementing processes that will define how the company operates at scale. You will work closely with various teams to identify operational gaps and develop innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include analyzing current workflows, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into actionable plans. You will lead cross-functional projects that require collaboration with product, technology, and operations teams, ensuring alignment and successful execution. You will also be involved in building and testing new tools and systems that support the Fulfillment network, leveraging your technical skills to prototype and iterate on solutions. As a Senior Manager, you will mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
