Block is seeking a Senior Enterprise Relationship Manager to grow and expand key strategic partnerships with enterprise-level merchants. You'll work to exceed profitability targets while fostering relationships with retailers. This role requires strong relationship management skills and experience in sales.
You have a proven track record in relationship management, particularly with enterprise-level clients, and understand the nuances of building and maintaining strategic partnerships. With at least 5 years of experience in sales or account management, you excel at exceeding profitability targets and driving growth for both your organization and your partners. You are passionate about creating win-win scenarios and have a deep understanding of the retail landscape, which allows you to effectively communicate value to stakeholders. Your ability to build trust and rapport with clients is unmatched, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus, as is familiarity with the challenges and opportunities faced by retailers in today's market. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to inform your strategies and decisions. A background in marketing or business development would also be beneficial, as it complements your relationship management skills and enhances your ability to drive growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a defined portfolio of enterprise-level merchants, both online and in-store. You will work closely with these partners to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that Afterpay's offerings align with their business objectives. Your primary goal will be to exceed profitability targets for both Afterpay and its partners, which will involve developing tailored strategies that drive mutual success. You will also collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure that our solutions meet the evolving needs of the retail landscape.
You will engage in regular communication with your partners, providing them with insights and support to help them maximize their use of Afterpay's services. This will include conducting training sessions, sharing best practices, and offering ongoing support to ensure a seamless experience for both merchants and customers. You will also be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities and expanding Afterpay's reach within the enterprise segment.
