Instacart is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the Shopping Experience team, focusing on the end-to-end consumer journey across various platforms. This role requires strong product management skills and offers a competitive salary range of CAD $194,000—$204,500.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the e-commerce or grocery sectors. You understand the complexities of consumer journeys and have a proven track record of managing product roadmaps and stakeholder expectations. Your analytical skills allow you to make data-driven decisions that enhance user experiences and drive engagement. You are a strong communicator, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to deliver impactful solutions. You thrive in a flexible work environment and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities while maintaining focus on key objectives. You are passionate about improving the shopping experience for customers and have a keen interest in leveraging technology to solve real-world problems.

Desirable

Experience with A/B testing and user research methodologies is a plus. Familiarity with grocery delivery services or similar industries will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. You are proactive in seeking feedback and iterating on product features to ensure they meet user needs effectively.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager at Instacart, you will own the Order Experience, overseeing critical surfaces and capabilities for the cart and checkout processes. You will collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to enhance the user interface and streamline the shopping experience across Instacart’s app and web platforms. Your responsibilities will include defining product requirements, prioritizing features based on user feedback and business goals, and leading cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle. You will analyze user data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring that the shopping experience is intuitive and efficient. You will also be responsible for communicating product updates and strategies to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the organization. Your role will involve regular engagement with customers to gather insights and validate product decisions, fostering a user-centric approach to product development.
