What you'll do

As a Rail Load Out Operator at Enviva, you will be responsible for the safe operation of loaders and railcar movers, including track mobiles or locomotives. You will perform and document required inspections of equipment, ensuring that it is maintained in good condition. Analyzing equipment performance will be part of your role, as you will need to make necessary tooling and equipment changes to achieve desired throughput and quality results. Following all workplace and job safety procedures is paramount, and you will develop and maintain operational records from inspections. You will confirm that all reporting is accurately completed as required and communicate operational information effectively. Additionally, you will enter maintenance work requests as applicable and perform or coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions. Housekeeping will also be part of your responsibilities, as you will maintain the required standards in your work area. Promptly escalating issues for proper resolution will be essential, and you may perform other duties as required, serving as a backup resource when needed.
