About the Opportunity

Bitvavo is on a mission to make digital assets accessible to everyone. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our growing and user-centric UX team. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping Bitvavo deeply understand its users, uncovering insights that shape our product strategy and create meaningful impact. You will collaborate across design, product, and marketing to ensure decisions are informed by evidence and driven by user needs. As a champion of user advocacy, your research will guide us in building a best-in-class experience for our customers—especially across key European markets.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the planning, execution, analysis, and sharing of user research to inform product, design, and marketing decisions
• Define and implement best practices in research, including toolkits, guides, and templates for scaling tactical research across teams
• Manage and evaluate external research vendors and tools to support end-to-end research operations
• Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights, reports, and business opportunities
• Represent the voice of the user across all stages of product development and strategic planning
• Own the research roadmap and OKRs in partnership with UX and Product leadership
• Mentor and support the growth of other UX researchers as a senior member of the team

What We Look For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in user research within a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and A/B testing
• Deep cultural understanding of the Dutch or German markets, either by background or prior professional focus
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to influence across disciplines
• Strong sense of ownership and a track record of driving research initiatives from concept to execution
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and elevating others in the research community
• Based in the Netherlands or open to relocation
