Overview

Google is seeking a Program Manager II for Maintenance Planning to lead complex projects in their data center operations. You'll utilize your experience in program management and CMMS to develop effective maintenance strategies. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes experience in preventative, electrical, or mechanical maintenance planning, and you are familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo, Infor, Datastream, or SAP PM. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with internal customers and external parties to address any issues that arise. You have the ability to develop long-term maintenance plans and forecasts, ensuring that all aspects of maintenance are considered and addressed.

What you'll do

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. This involves working closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will be responsible for the effective execution of all planning and scheduling of maintenance work and control processes. Collaborating with site supervisors and technicians, you will manage work priorities, develop job plans, define parts and materials, and engage the proper resources to ensure safe and efficient operations. You will also work with facility management to develop and maintain schedules and resource leveling by utilizing the site CMMS program. Additionally, you will establish and maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, and program manager schedules, ensuring that all maintenance activities are well-coordinated and executed.
