Apple is hiring a Senior Test Automation Engineer to enhance the quality of their Retail Engineering team. You'll design and maintain automated test frameworks and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong programming expertise and proficiency in testing applications.
You have a strong background in software development and testing, with at least 5 years of experience in test automation. Your programming expertise, particularly in Java, allows you to develop robust automated test frameworks that validate functionalities effectively. You are a creative problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with software engineers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your excellent communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. You are passionate about automation and continuously seek opportunities to streamline testing processes and enhance team velocity.
Experience with Selenium or similar testing frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with eCommerce platforms. You understand the importance of quality in software development and are committed to maintaining high standards throughout the testing lifecycle. Your ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies will help you drive the adoption of best practices within the team.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites to validate the functionalities of Apple's eCommerce platform. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout all development phases, ensuring seamless integration of automation and quality-driven solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing and executing test plans and test cases, identifying automation opportunities, and defining test approaches that align with project requirements. You will conduct continuous quality analysis and propose solutions to streamline the testing process, enhancing overall team efficiency.
You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of quality within the team. By driving the adoption of best practices in test automation, you will contribute to the overall success of the Retail Engineering team and help Apple maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality products.
