Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Supervisor for the SMT (Starlink) program to lead the mass production of PCB and PCBA processes. You'll manage production technicians and collaborate with engineers to ensure product quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Who you are

You have experience in production supervision, particularly in electronics manufacturing, and are skilled in leading teams through complex processes. Your background includes managing schedules, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining production quality. You are adept at coaching and mentoring technicians, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews. You understand the importance of collaboration with engineering teams to transition products from development to full-scale production. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a track record of driving efficiency and quality in manufacturing environments.

Desirable

Experience in the PCB and PCBA production processes is a plus, as is familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. You are comfortable analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. A background in the aerospace or technology sectors would be beneficial, as would any experience with high-volume production environments.

What you'll do

As a Supervisor for the SMT (Starlink) program, you will coordinate the schedules of production technicians and oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing area. You will lead efforts to optimize production processes, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams to facilitate the transition from prototyping to mass production, addressing any challenges that arise during this process.
