You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you thrive in hands-on environments where your troubleshooting skills can shine. Your experience includes maintaining and operating mission-critical facilities, ensuring that technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. You understand the importance of uptime in data centers and are committed to achieving extraordinary performance metrics.
You have a background in electrical engineering, with knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs — you are comfortable working with complex systems and can quickly diagnose issues. Your mechanical engineering skills complement your electrical knowledge, allowing you to troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, and air handlers.
You are detail-oriented and proactive, always looking for ways to improve operational efficiency — you understand that every component plays a critical role in the overall performance of the data center. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with diverse groups of engineers and specialists, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience with diesel generators and fuel systems is a plus — you are eager to learn and expand your skill set in this area. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services will give you an edge, as you will be working closely with teams that support global data centers.
