Apple is hiring an RTL Design Engineer to work on mixed-signal silicon design. You'll be responsible for specifying, designing, and verifying digital and mixed-signal circuits. This role requires a solid foundation in digital logic circuits and familiarity with Python.
You are early in your journey towards a chip design career and are eager to take on unsolved challenges. You have a solid foundation in digital logic circuits and are motivated to learn about mixed-signal and analog circuit design. Your technical skills include RTL coding and an understanding of high-performance mixed-signal and analog IPs. You are a results-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited about contributing to the next generation of Apple products.
Familiarity with Python is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to engage with software methods and analysis crucial across the semiconductor industry. You are open to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies in the field of chip design.
In this role, you will be responsible for specifying and micro-architecting digital blocks in sophisticated mixed-signal circuits. You will engage in RTL coding of blocks that you specify or that are specified by others. Your work will involve modeling and integrating high-performance mixed-signal and analog IPs into high-speed digital circuits. You will ensure formal equivalence between custom designs and their abstract representations, contributing to the overall success of the silicon design team. You will also support lab bring-up of the circuits you design, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance metrics. This position offers you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a technical and multi-disciplinary environment, working alongside experienced engineers in the field.
