Google is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Data Center Delivery and Engineering. You'll leverage your financial planning and analysis expertise to drive cost savings and provide insights for executive decision-making. This role requires 7+ years of experience in finance or a related field.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, and at least 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function. Your background includes experience in data centers or a related industry, and you excel at identifying and driving cost savings. You are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and can self-start in an unstructured environment, navigating ambiguity with ease. Your financial acumen is excellent, and you have a proven ability to influence decisions through disciplined use of data. You possess strong problem-solving skills combined with sound business judgment, and you are recognized for your leadership, teamwork, and people skills.
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Google, you will ensure that the company makes sound financial decisions. Your work will involve modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics, which will be utilized by leaders to make informed company decisions. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on the details while also addressing big-picture issues. You will lead individual projects aimed at transforming planning, tracking, and control processes within the core Finance team. In your role, you will partner with Data Center Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) business teams to deliver data center builds at the lowest possible cost. You will align with regional leaders to enable effective financial controls and actively drive performance against key metrics alongside business partners. Additionally, you will guide the development, automation, and consolidation of financial tools to scale the finance team and enable agility for the business. Building a community for the Data Centers Build Finance team will also be part of your responsibilities.
