SpaceX is hiring an Electrical Engineer for the Starshield program to design and develop reliable electronics for satellite communication. You'll work with technologies like Altium Designer and MATLAB in Hawthorne, CA.
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and developing electronics for complex systems. You are skilled in using tools such as Altium Designer and AutoCAD, and you have a solid understanding of embedded systems and Linux environments. As an Electrical Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of highly reliable electronics that communicate with satellites. You will engage in hardware bring-up, characterization, and testing, ensuring that all components meet stringent requirements for performance and reliability. Your role will involve generating and verifying requirements, as well as troubleshooting issues that arise during the development process. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and teams to ensure that your designs integrate seamlessly into the overall system architecture. You will also participate in the full lifecycle of the hardware, from initial concept through to deployment and operational support. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Starshield program and its mission to support national security efforts.
