You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly focused on reliability and performance of distributed systems. Your background includes a deep understanding of Java and its ecosystem, allowing you to build robust applications that can handle high traffic and complex workflows. You are skilled in identifying potential reliability issues before they impact users, and you have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems you build are not only functional but also scalable and maintainable. You are familiar with cloud infrastructure and have experience with monitoring tools that help maintain system health. You are passionate about improving user experience through reliable software solutions and are eager to contribute to a team that values innovation and excellence.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. You may also have knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies, which can further enhance the reliability of the systems you work on.
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Reliability Engineering team at Box, you will be responsible for ensuring that our platform delivers exceptional performance and reliability.
