Job Description

Would you like to join a dynamic Amazon team that is focused on designing and developing global training that meets business needs? The TSE Learning Experience Design team owns the creation of targeted learning solutions (eLearning, VILT, and other modalities) that enable investigators to resolve customer issues and investigate potential fraud and abuse. We are currently looking for a strong manager to lead our IN team to develop global training content to support investigator performance.

The successful candidate will manage a team of learning experience designers. This includes regular meetings with direct reports, the global team, and business stakeholders. It also includes resource planning and allocation, delivering programmatic goals, and managing the team’s performance. The candidate will also be expected to drive content- related programs from conception to delivery, working in collaboration with global stakeholders.

This role requires an individual with excellent instructional design, people management, and project management skills. The candidate must be a self-starter, with strong attention to detail, capable of diving deep, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Great interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication, time management, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are required.

Demonstrated affinity for technology and a background in training, instructional design, technical writing, editing, and information design would be a plus. A passion for communicating effectively is essential to the role.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams including Operations and Program teams to meet business goals.
- Define the LXD projects road-map and iterate on recurring basis to align with program needs.
- Identify the risks and eliminate blockers for team by working with stakeholders.
- Balance workload and priorities to meet short-term targets and team goals. Make trade-offs: time vs. quality vs. resources.
- Manage a team of LXDs - to meet SLAs and deliver results. Hire, manage performance, coach, and promote ICs.
- Audit team deliverables and coach the team to uphold the training content quality to meet global LXD standards.
- Evaluate the launched projects for learning experience, knowledge, and performance outcomes to drive continuous improvement in instructional soundness of the training content.

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing teams
- 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design, working on design and development of performance focused training projects.
- 3+ years of experience in reviewing and auditing training content for instructional soundness.- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
