Job Description
Who you are
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and possess a Nondestructive Evaluation Level II certification in line with ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance. Your expertise includes methods such as Eddy current, radiography, digital radiography, dye penetrant, visual inspection, phase array, and ultrasonic techniques. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a strong ability to interpret and evaluate engineering drawings. You enjoy collaborating with production and engineering teams to communicate findings effectively.
What you'll do
As an NDE Inspector Level II at SpaceX, you will perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections on flight components and production assemblies. You will interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report your findings to both production and engineering teams. Your role will also involve supporting the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries and assisting in the research and development of system qualification and certification for critical processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to train and develop others on the team, fostering a culture of quality and excellence in inspections.
