CI&T is seeking a Data Engineering Lead with a focus on governance to oversee the development and lifecycle management of data products. You'll collaborate with data engineers and architects while utilizing skills in SQL, Azure, and Power BI. This role requires experience in product management within data-centric environments.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. With experience in product management, particularly in data-centric environments, you understand the nuances of data analytics, governance, and management practices. Your proficiency in English is essential, ideally at a C1/C2 level, and knowledge of Spanish is a plus to facilitate communication with LATAM teams. You are familiar with tools such as Azure DevOps, DBeaver, DataBricks, and Power BI, and have a solid understanding of SQL and data structures, particularly with Medallion architecture. Experience working in an Agile model is also part of your background.
As the Data Engineering Lead, you will define and prioritize the product roadmap for data initiatives, ensuring that they align with business goals. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond. Conducting market research and gathering user feedback will be key to informing product enhancements, ensuring that the data products you manage adhere to quality standards and meet user needs. You will lead a team, fostering a collaborative environment while driving the development of innovative data solutions that deliver real value to users.
