Who you are

You have a proven track record in workplace health and safety management, with at least 5 years of experience leading safety programs in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in risk assessment and safety compliance is complemented by your ability to influence change and foster a culture of safety excellence. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your strategies and decisions, ensuring that safety is integrated into daily operations. You possess strong leadership skills, capable of building and developing high-performing teams that prioritize safety and continuous improvement. Your communication skills allow you to effectively partner with operations leadership and other stakeholders to drive safety initiatives forward. You are passionate about creating a safe workplace and are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of employees.

Desirable

Experience in a large-scale operational environment is a plus, as is familiarity with safety regulations and standards across various industries. A background in data analytics or technology-driven safety solutions will enhance your ability to innovate and implement effective safety programs.

What you'll do

As the Site EHS Manager III at Amazon, you will lead the implementation of the Global Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Program at your site. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments and developing actionable strategies to mitigate risks. Your role will involve collaborating closely with operations leadership to weave safety into the fabric of daily operations, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to and continuously improved. You will drive initiatives that set new benchmarks in workplace safety, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance safety measures. You will also lead a team of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in transforming safety culture and driving results that protect Amazon's most valuable asset: its people.
