Amazon is seeking a Film/Series Awards Specialist to support the execution of awards campaigns for original films and series. You'll collaborate with various teams and manage operational tasks related to awards events. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
You have experience in managing awards campaigns and understand the intricacies of the awards calendar, including major events like the Oscars and Emmys. Your detail-oriented nature allows you to handle a high volume of tactical and operational work effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with filmmakers, talent, and internal teams to ensure successful awards campaigns.
You are highly organized and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Your ability to anticipate needs and communicate clearly across teams is essential for this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
Experience in the film or entertainment industry is a plus, as is familiarity with the awards landscape. You may have worked with publicity, marketing, or legal teams in previous roles, giving you a well-rounded perspective on the various aspects of awards campaigns.
In this role, you will support the execution of awards campaigns for both film and series titles across all phases of the awards calendar. You will develop and coordinate For Your Consideration (FYC) e-blast creative in partnership with external agencies, managing approvals, scheduling, and payments with guilds and awards organizations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing event-related contracts and agreements, partnering with internal legal teams and external vendors to process work orders, sponsorships, advertising insertion orders, licenses, and NDAs.
You will track and manage awards budgets across film and series titles, ensuring that all financial aspects of the campaigns are handled efficiently. Planning and executing guild and tastemaker screenings and events will also be a key part of your role, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
