Cresta is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy AI Agents that enhance customer interactions. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Large Language Models and AI systems. This role requires significant experience in machine learning and AI applications.
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong focus on developing and deploying AI solutions that solve real-world problems. Your expertise includes working with Large Language Models and AI Agent systems, allowing you to translate complex research into practical applications that drive business value.
You are passionate about leveraging AI to improve customer interactions and have a proven track record of implementing scalable solutions in a production environment. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that the AI solutions you develop meet the needs of both the business and its customers.
You thrive in innovative environments and are eager to stay at the forefront of AI technology. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenges creatively, and you are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable AI systems that enhance operational efficiency.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with deploying machine learning models in production. You are also encouraged to bring any experience you have with data engineering practices, as this will enhance your ability to work with large datasets effectively.
In this role, you will lead the development of state-of-the-art AI Agents that automate customer interactions and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to define the technical requirements and ensure that the AI solutions align with business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing machine learning models, particularly focusing on Large Language Models, and ensuring their scalability and reliability in production. You will also be involved in conducting experiments to validate the effectiveness of the AI Agents and iterating on the designs based on feedback and performance metrics.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with teams across the organization to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
