Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential, as you will work closely with engineering, product, and public policy experts to drive legal strategies that support business objectives. You are proactive in identifying potential legal issues and are skilled at mitigating risks associated with high-profile legal matters. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders effectively. You are detail-oriented and have a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and compliance.
In this role, you will be responsible for advising on legal issues related to Waymo's autonomous driving technology, including intellectual property matters and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, ensuring that innovations are legally safeguarded. Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $238,000—$302,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
