Who you are

You are a highly motivated professional with extensive experience in tax compliance and reporting. You have a deep understanding of corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax regulations in Taiwan. Your ability to proactively identify tax-saving opportunities sets you apart, and you excel in managing relationships with local tax authorities. You are detail-oriented and ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and disclosures. You are comfortable working closely with both global and regional stakeholders to support strategic tax initiatives. Your experience includes reviewing tax provision calculations under IFRS and US GAAP, demonstrating your strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of tax compliance in Taiwan, ensuring that corporate income tax filings, VAT, and withholding tax obligations are met accurately and on time. You will proactively identify and evaluate tax-saving opportunities, contributing to the overall financial strategy of Coupang in Taiwan. You will manage relationships with local tax authorities, providing support during audits or inquiries. Additionally, you will review and support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards. Your collaboration with global and regional teams will be crucial in aligning tax strategies with the company's growth objectives in Taiwan.
