Five9 is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to manage client invoicing and resolve billing issues. You'll work with MS Office, NetSuite, and Salesforce.com to ensure accurate billing processes. This role requires 3-5 years of billing experience in a SaaS environment.
You have 3-5 years of billing experience, ideally in a SaaS or technology environment — you've developed a solid understanding of billing and financial concepts that enable you to manage client invoicing effectively. Your proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, allows you to analyze data and ensure accuracy in billing processes. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which help you research and resolve billing, credit, and accounts receivable issues efficiently. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for interfacing with internal customer service and support organizations on customer inquiries. You thrive in stressful situations with firm deadlines, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in your work. Your ability to make timely, independent decisions is a key asset in this role. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.com is a huge plus, as it enhances your capability to manage billing operations effectively.
In this role, you will prepare and process daily billings to ensure client invoices are accurate and consistent with contractual requirements. You will research and resolve any billing, credit, and accounts receivable issues that arise, ensuring a smooth billing process for clients. Reviewing and reconciling account balances in Accounts Receivable will be a key responsibility, as will interfacing with internal teams to address customer inquiries. You will assess current billing operations, offering recommendations for improvement and assisting with the implementation of new processes. Collaborating with team members in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable will be essential as you assist with ad-hoc projects and miscellaneous tasks. Your contributions will help enhance the overall efficiency of the billing process and improve customer satisfaction.
