Overview

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for their Sub Same-Day network expansion in Japan. You'll lead initiatives to improve fulfillment centers and last-mile delivery, requiring strong analytical skills and experience in logistics. You excel in managing multiple stakeholder teams simultaneously, ensuring that all parties are aligned and working towards common goals. Your impactful communication skills allow you to influence without authority, making you a key player in cross-functional collaborations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can lead programs, partnerships, innovations, and features to sustainably scale up capabilities.

Desirable

Experience in network planning and capacity design projects is a plus, as is familiarity with supply chain management. You understand the intricacies of fulfillment centers and last-mile delivery, and you are adept at identifying areas for continuous improvement. Your ability to execute with speed will be critical to your success in this role, as you will be tasked with driving scalable improvements that directly impact customer delivery speed and reliability.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage initiatives related to new integrations at SSD sites, leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. You will partner closely with multiple functional teams and stakeholder groups, including Supply Chain, Field execution, Tech teams, and Transportation Network Planning. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that the expansion of the Sub Same-Day network meets cost optimization and speed acceleration goals. You will be responsible for driving programs that enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

You will also be involved in network planning and capacity design projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that the expansion aligns with strategic objectives. Your role will require you to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive improvements. You will lead discussions and workshops to foster innovation and best practices across the organization, ensuring that all teams are equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly expanding network.
