Amazon is hiring an Operations Manager for their Fulfillment Center in Cajamar, Sao Paulo. You'll lead a team to manage warehouse processes, ensuring safety and performance while developing strategic planning. This role requires experience in employee management and process improvement.
You have a strong background in operations management, with experience leading teams in a warehouse or fulfillment environment. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance metrics, and you have a proven track record of achieving operational goals. Your leadership style emphasizes mentorship and development, ensuring your team is equipped to succeed. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple shifts and a large team effectively. Your advanced English skills enable you to communicate clearly with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean techniques, is a plus. You are comfortable working flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and you have the physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and walking long distances.
In this role, you will oversee the complete management of warehouse processes, whether inbound or outbound, during specific or multiple shifts. You will lead a team of Area Managers and associates, ensuring that safety, quality, and performance standards are met and exceeded. You will develop strategic planning and forecasting to optimize operations and implement process improvements. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will manage approximately 300 direct and indirect employees, adapting to varying team sizes based on operational needs. You will interface with support areas such as HR, Finance, Facilities, Security, and IT to ensure smooth operations.
