Flexport is hiring a Customs Trainer to develop and deliver training materials on customs entry processes and regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate with operations teams and support continuous learning initiatives. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in customs brokerage and compliance, with experience in developing training materials and conducting educational sessions. Your ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly makes you an effective trainer. You stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring that your training content is always relevant and up-to-date. You are collaborative and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance training programs. Your organizational skills allow you to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously, ensuring that all team members receive the support they need to succeed.

Desirable

Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus, as is familiarity with customs regulations and compliance standards. You may have a background in instructional design or adult education, which would enhance your ability to create engaging training materials. A passion for continuous learning and improvement will help you thrive in this role, as you will be expected to facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions across operational teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training materials on customs entry processes and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with Flexport Customs Compliance to create educational resources, including process guides, work instructions, videos, and system tutorials. Conducting onboarding sessions for new team members will be a key responsibility, as you will support Associate Managers and Managers in providing foundational knowledge on customs brokerage fundamentals. You will also facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions across operational teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the latest compliance standards.

Your role will involve continuous learning initiatives, where you will stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices. You will work closely with operations teams to identify areas for process improvement, helping to streamline customs procedures and enhance overall efficiency. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring that Flexport maintains its high standards of compliance and customer service.
