Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in various autobody repair techniques. Your expertise includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, allowing you to tackle complex bodywork challenges with confidence. You are skilled in performing repairs on multiple panels, including roof and rocker panel repairs, and are adept at large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience has equipped you with the ability to train and mentor other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment where skills and knowledge are shared.

You understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences and are committed to meeting deadlines, even if it requires working mandatory overtime based on business needs. You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to contributing to the success of the team and the company.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicles, ensuring that repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve training other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.

You will be expected to collaborate closely with your team to deliver vehicles to customers on time, maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. In addition to your technical skills, you will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture, encouraging open communication and collaboration among team members.
