Carvana is seeking a Detail Lead to manage and develop a team in their Inspection Center. You'll oversee the movement of cars and ensure production and quality goals are met. This role requires strong leadership and management skills.
You have experience in a supervisory role, ideally in an operations or production environment — you understand how to manage teams effectively and drive performance. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to engage and motivate your team to achieve their best work. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of your work. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while keeping your team focused on their goals. You have a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
As the Detail Lead at Carvana, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that cars are moved safely and efficiently for repairs. You will set production targets and work with your team to meet or exceed these goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. You will oversee the activities of your assigned team, providing coaching and support to help them develop their skills and improve their performance. You will regularly assess your team's strengths and weaknesses, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing strategies to enhance their capabilities. You will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and open communication among team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that all vehicles meet Carvana's rigorous quality standards before they are sold to customers.
