Earnin is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join their backend teams in Bengaluru. You'll design and implement features for high-scale backend services. This role requires experience in backend development and collaboration across teams.
You are an experienced backend engineer with a passion for building scalable systems. You have a strong understanding of backend services and enjoy working cross-functionally with various teams to deliver impactful solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the design and development of robust features that meet the unique needs of users living paycheck to paycheck.
You possess a resourceful mindset and are comfortable breaking down complex problems into manageable components. Your experience allows you to drive the implementation of new features effectively, ensuring they are robust enough to handle high traffic and user demands. You are committed to continuous learning and development, seeking opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge in backend engineering.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing features that are robust and scalable. You will work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure that the backend services meet the needs of the business and its users. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, providing real-time financial flexibility for community members.
You will engage in problem-solving discussions, collaborating with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical requirements. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality. You will also monitor the performance of backend services, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
As part of a hybrid team, you will spend two days a week in the Bengaluru office, fostering collaboration and team spirit. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.
