Amazon South Africa (ZA) Marketplace Team is looking for Accounts Managers who are self-motivated, results-driven and capable of working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
As an Account Manager you will work with online sellers to grow and expand their business by partnering with Amazon. You will collaborate with sales and product teams to maximize revenue generation across various product families, identifying opportunities to increase selection, driving feature adoption, monitoring seller’s healthy growth, product quality, as well as working with sellers to achieve our standard and delivering the best e-commerce experience for customers on Amazon. Operating in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment, you will be responsible for delivering business and financial objectives.
Key job responsibilities
- Prioritize & manage a pipeline of opportunities to drive seller goals in the Marketplace business.
- Build & nurture relationships with sellers, supporting them to exceed monthly revenue goals
- Identify opportunities to improve business for all sellers through scalable solutions and support the roll-out of these solutions
- Perform analyzes to understand root causes of seller performance and actions to accelerate growth
- Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and serve as primary point of contact
- Handle seller queries timeously
- Build up a working knowledge of business levers and tools to accelerate seller growth on the store
- Work closely with cross functional teams to drive daily execution of tasks

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Matric / Grade 12
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in prospecting, qualifying, and being the first point of contact with prospective partners- Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Analytical skills including Microsoft suite
