Who you are

You have a proven track record in supply chain management, with at least 5 years of experience leading teams in sourcing and procurement. Your expertise in DFM and DFA allows you to influence product decisions effectively, ensuring that operational impacts are communicated clearly across teams. You are a mentor at heart, dedicated to coaching your team and helping them grow their skills in purchasing and supply chain management. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with engineering, accounting, and design teams to drive initiatives that align with the hardware product roadmap.

You are results-oriented, with a strong focus on cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis and reporting. Your analytical skills enable you to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reductions across all hardware products. You are passionate about bringing the latest technology in 3D printing to market and are excited about the impact your work will have on various industries.

Desirable

Experience in the 3D printing industry or related fields would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and supply chain technologies will set you apart. What you'll do

As the Head of Global Sourcing at Formlabs, you will manage a team of 8 sourcing and supply chain professionals, guiding them through the intricacies of procurement and supply chain management. You will lead initiatives to enhance new sourcing and manufacturing capabilities based on the hardware product roadmap, ensuring that the latest technologies are integrated into our processes. Your role will involve conducting thorough COGs analysis, reporting on findings, and implementing strategies for cost reductions across all hardware products.

You will collaborate closely with other departments, including engineering design and sustaining engineering teams, to ensure that product decisions are informed by operational realities. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement, where team members are encouraged to innovate and optimize processes. You will also be responsible for mentoring your team, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.

The annual base pay for this role ranges from $135,000 to $275,000 USD, depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
